Long time, No See? #I'mSoSorry

Using this moment to write a blog for you! :D

Hello!

First of all, I want to apologize for not keeping my promise. I really wanted to post new stuff but I have been very busy these days! My class 10th final exams are going to start in just a month's time and I haven't even begun studying for it 'officially'. So, I guess, this will be my first and the last post before the exams.

I had also told you that I'd be posting original stuff on this blog, like share my photography with you, but I haven't got a chance to do that either.

To tell you the truth, I had not intended to write this post! I had a very amazing day filled with tests, getting back the previous ones and playing crazy games with my classmates! But I was very tired and didn't want to study so I ended up here!

So let's skip this part of all what I have NOT done, and come to some updates. Here are 5 random things about me:

  1. I turned 16 last week! - It just happened so fast!! I mean, it seems like I had just celebrated my 13th birthday yesterday and today I'm 16! Time really does travel at the speed of light! (LOL)
  2. My obsession with #Hashtags - I really don't know how it began, but these days, all my posts, statuses, messages, emails, cards contain hash-tags.
  3. I have finally learned Turkish March! - I doubt if I've ever told you that I'm learning piano. So, last December I finished "Turkish-March" by Mozart which I had been learning since last July. It is a really difficult piece (for a beginner like me) but I somehow managed to do it along with studies and other stuff.
  4. My admiration for iiSuperwomanii and ASAP Science - These people spread positivity and knowledge and that's exactly what I need! Everybody needs sometime off this world and this is my escape! I used to listen to songs earlier for this. But I realized that though my choice of songs is amazing (no doubt!), I always end up listening only to the sad ones!
  5. I am in LOVE with my school - It's not that I wasn't in love with my school earlier. I recently attended the farewell of the 12th grade students. Even though I could listen only to one of the speeches, it just made me realize that I'm left with only two years of school life now! It scares me so much!
Lastly, I want to share one epic news with you! The Delhi elections results are up and AAP (Aam Aadmi Party) won 67/70 seats! I'm not a very politically conscious person (nor am I a supporter of this party, to be honest), but I am happy with the results. Last year this party had been in power but had to give up within 49 days. It had failed in completing one of the tasks they had promised to complete. Until day before, I had been underestimating this party, but now, since it has got a 'clean sweep' majority, I am looking forward to how they make the most of their second chance!

Now, this has been a pretty long post (comparatively)! I hope to write again after the exams in late March. Happy Valentine's week!

Wish me luck for my exams, ya'll!! :D

Guys, I'm back! :D

Hey, once again!
I know it's been 6 months since my last post, but I couldn't help it! Now, I have decided to start blogging again and will try to post more often. :)

So, in the past half year, I've heard a lot of really great songs and I'd like to share a few with you. I don't listen to any particular genre, or have any ONE OR TWO favorite singers or bands. And some of these songs may be old, but how does that even matter? I really love my choice of songs and THAT is what is the most important thing! So, here are a few songs (in NO particular order) :

1) Only Hope - Mandy Moore

2) Counting Stars - One Republic

3) Maps - Maroon 5

4) What You Wanted - One Republic

5) Magic - Coldplay

6) Hey Brother - Avicii

I know that posting songs is just NOT enough. I need to put my brain and fingers together at work to come up with something special. I've been working on that, too! But I promise that I'll be sharing lots of songs and photographs (by me), as well!

Songs that can change your mindset...

Hey!

Another season of "Satyamev Jayate" has come to an end and sadly, I could only watch one episode of it properly, since I had been busy. "Satyamev Jayate" is a very famous show and it mainly focuses on the various social issues in our country. At the end of each episode, some artist/ band performs a song related to the topic of that day.

Earlier this week, I was surfing videos on Youtube and chatting with my friends online and one of them recommended me to have a listen to the songs from "Satyamev Jayate". I have always been fond of such songs and, perhaps, this has been one of the reasons why I watch that show and am a big fan of it! This kind of songs always touch my heart!

Here are the links to some of the songs:

  • Bekhauff (This song is about women empowerment.)

  • Bharat Bhaagya Vidhata (This is a patriotic song, sung by Shankar Mahadevan.)

  • Chiraiiya (This song is from the first season.)

(p.s. sorry for posting this so late.)

Let the blogging begin!

Hey,
This is my very first blog, as you all know.  I had been thinking of creating a blog of my own but I just was too lazy to begin writing. I have not really thought of what my blogs are going to be about, but mostly they are going to be about music and all good stuff that you do not get to hear about from TV and newspapers.

So, today, I'd like to share the music video of "Let it Go" by Idina Menzel from "Frozen" with you. I really loved the movie, specially this scene.
